Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the closing date of
submission of online application for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2)
Level Examination, 2020, till December 19, 2020. The Commission said
that the SSC CHSL 2020 last date has been extended in view of the
difficulties faced by aspiring candidates in the filling of online
application due to heavy load on servers.
Earlier, the last date for the online application process for the
Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2021 was today
i.e., December 15. Eligible candidates who are yet to fill up the
forms are advised to visit the official website of SSC — ssc.nic.in —
to submit their application at the earliest.

SSC CHSL Exam Date 2020

The tentative exam schedule for the SSC CHSL 2020-21 exam has already been published by SSC along with its Official Calendar. The Tier-1 computer based online exam is scheduled to be conducted from 12th to 27th April, 2021. The Tier-2 exam date will be released later. Age Limit:

Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. Candidates born not before 01-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003). Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as below:

Educational Qualification:

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates who is planning to appear in CHSL 2020 exam must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

How to fill SSC CHL Application Form 2020?

The process of filling up SSC CHL Application Form includes two parts – In Part 1, you have to register yourself and upload your photo and signature while in Part 2, you have to fill the SSC CHL application form and pay the registration fees. 

Pre-requisites for SSC CHL Registration 2020

Candidates should keep the following documents and details handy before beginning to fill SSC CHL Application Form 2020:
• A valid mobile number,
• An active email ID
• Scanned image of candidate’s passport size photo
• Scanned image of candidate’s signature
• Aadhaar Number or any other Photo ID Proof Number (also required at later stages)

To start with, candidates need to fill SSC CHL registration form 2020 that will be made available on the official website of
https://ssc.nic.in
Some of the details that candidates need to fill in the registration form include name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, category, permanent address, etc. Once all details are filled, candidates can click on the Submit button to submit the form.
On submission of the form, a registration ID and password will be generated. Candidates need to note down the ID and password, which would be required to apply for the SSC CHL 2020 exam as well as any other recruitment exam of the commission.
Step 2: Upload Scanned Photo & Signature
In the next step, candidates need to upload their latest colour photograph and signature as per the below-mentioned specifications:

Steps to Retrieve the Password of SSC CHL Application Form 2020

1. Open the login window of the application form.
2. Now click the ‘Forgot Password’ option, available on the login window
3. Next, a window will appear, containing the details like ‘Permanent State” and ‘Email ID or Mobile Number’
4. The aspirants should fill the details and then they will get a SMS to the mobile number and email id they provided.
SSC CHL 2020 Application Form Correction
Candidates have to be extremely careful as there is no option for editing the filled details after the Final Submission of the SSC CHL Application. However, if an error occurs at the time of filling of details in the registration part, candidates can start the entire procedure of Registration I again. SSC accepts the application which is last filled by the candidates.
Candidates must also make sure to note down the Registration Number (which is also sent to the Registered Email Id) after the completion of Registration Part I since this cannot be retrieved if lost.

Once the aspirants submit their SSC CHL Application Form and if the Commission accepts the forms, the candidates can check their application status. SSC CHSL Application Fee

• The required application fee is Rs. 100/-
• Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
• Applications fee should be pay only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.
• To pay fee in cash, candidate should take print out of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.
